EPA’s 37th Annual Scientific Conference

The Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association (EPA) held its 37^thannual conference on 28-30 July 2018 at Oromo Cultural Center with a theme of “Pharmacy Work force in Ethiopia: Training, Deployment and Ethics”.After a short welcoming speech by the association’s vice president, Mr. Tsegaye Gebreyesus, the conference was officially opened by Ms. Heran Gerba FMHACA, Deputy Director General, followed by keynote speeches by platinum sponsors of the 37^thannual conference of the association.

After the opening and keynote addresses, topics related to the theme of the conference were presented by senior experts in the field both in the morning and afternoon sessions. On the second day morning, continuing education topics and scientific papers were presented. In the afternoon, the schedule was dedicated for business meeting where reports of the executive committee and standing committees of the association were presented and discussed. Finally, the event was concluded by recognizing the conference sponsors in the cocktail reception at Ethiopia Hotel.
