Basic COVID-19 prevention and management Training

EPA Cascading Basic COVID-19 Prevention & Management TrainingsAs part of their professional obligation to live up to and social responsibilities that the public expects them to do, the consortium of 11 health professional associations in Ethiopia managed to win a project grant from the Federal Ministry of Health to provide basic COVID-19 prevention and management capacity building training to health workforce working at health facilities in all regions of Ethiopia. The basic training is currently being conducted throughout the country and professional associations, EPA included, are assigned to specific regions to operate.

Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association is assigned to cascade capacity building training in Tigray and Harari National Regional States and Diredawa City Administration where 10 rounds of training have already been conducted in Tigray and 4 training in Diredawa and 3 trainin’ in Hariri are scheduled to be conducted next week totaling to 17 training. To this effect, the association is closely working with and would like to extend its huge gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Health, Tigray and Harari National Regional State, and Diredawa City Administration Health Bureaus for their generous support and cooperation in taking the project implementation forward as per our plan.
